Get paid to travel the world with this dream summer job

As many adventurous, travel-loving individuals can attest, it’s rare enough to find a job that allows for enough flexibility and time off to satiate the ever-present wanderlust that many people experience. Which is why a brand new dream job posting will be of interest to anyone wishing to make a change, as WOW air is searching for two individuals who will be paid to explore Iceland (as well as other countries along the airline’s routes) for three months.

Having opened for applicants this week, the much-sought-after position will see two lucky friends moving across the country throughout the summer months in an effort to help WOW air complete its digital Travel Guide. The mission will see the pair exploring a range of dynamic and diverse locations, all the while documenting the adventure. After that, they will have the opportunity to travel throughout the summer to 38 WOW air destinations in Europe and North America, exploring some of the most exciting cities in the world.

The listing states that it is seeking a fun pair of individuals, ideally two content creators or one applicant that wants to bring a friend along for the adventure, with the selected pair getting paid to live in an apartment in downtown Reykjavik and have the opportunity to travel to cities such as Barcelona, New York, London, Los Angeles, Paris and Stockholm. Their job will be to document the trips, creating short videos, taking photos and writing blog posts about their travels, including budget-friendly tips, making the first ever WOW Travel Guide. To apply for the role, those interested have been asked to create and upload a short video travel guide of two minutes maximum, showcasing their own home towns.
