There is a NYC lofthouse in Virgin Atlantic Heathrow’s Clubhouse for a limited time

If you fancy the idea of bedding down in the airport for the night, Virgin Atlantic has announced a pop-up bedroom at its Clubhouse lounge at Heathrow Airport in London. This is part of a collaboration with luxury home rental company Onefinestay, which has teamed up with the airline to recreate a room from one of its New York apartments.

The bedroom has been designed in collaboration with Jemma Paugh from JC Décor. Passengers staying in the exclusive bedroom will experience a welcome from their own personal butler. How fancy. The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and gives fine views of Heathrow’s runway. If you stay there, you’ll get to have a pre-dinner cocktail at the bar, followed by a three-course meal in the brasserie with wine pairings. After that, you can enjoy access to the cinema room and rooftop terrace.

“We always want flying with Virgin Atlantic to be extra special, and that’s why we’ve teamed up with Onefinestay to offer this rare opportunity to stay in our London Heathrow Clubhouse,” says Mark Anderson, executive vice-president at Virgin Atlantic. “An area of our Clubhouse will be transformed into a luxury Manhattan loft, and will offer several lucky customers the best possible start to their trip.”

Those chosen will enjoy being pampered with an invigorating spa treatment, which includes a haircut, shave or facial. Then, to soothe you to sleep,  a tailored de Mamiel aromatherapy treatment is provided before bed. Speaking of bed, there’s no need to drag yourself out in the morning, as you’ll get served breakfast in bed from the Clubhouse’s extensive menu and can peruse a selection of newspapers.

After that, it’s a five-minute walk to board your Virgin Atlantic flight. Virgin customers can request to book a stay online up to March 4, but if chosen, they will get to spend the night for free. You can apply to stay at the pop-up bedroom here.
