An Instagrammable floating bar has popped up in Dubai

If you’re always on the look-out for the perfect Instagrammable location, a floating bar has popped up at Barasti Beach in Dubai that will certainly fit the bill. Erected as part of the Sunsets music festival in November but already open in advance, you can book an hour-long slot in the floating Barasti Beach Bar bar every day from 12pm to 6pm until 4 November. Located off the coast of Dubai Marina, the experience costs Dhs200 for two, and the price includes a bucket of beers. You head to the regular Barasti Beach Bar on land, get your bucket from the bar, and then head over to the floating bar.

Sunsets Festival is an annual three-day music festival that runs on Thursday, 2 November until Saturday, 4 November. It will have dedicated zones for the four elements; water, fire, earth and wind. Guests can expect themed activities around these elements, including an open BBQ, cocktail-making masterclasses and festival makeovers. Organisers are calling the floating bar “an hour of the most Instagrammable fun in the sun.” It runs from noon until 6 pm every day, so will be the perfect place to chill out and drive your friends back home mad.
