If your balance is good, you’re female and you have a head for heights, the Girls Only Slackline Festival taking place in the Czech Republic in September just might appeal to you.
Now in its eighth year, the event draws women from all around the world to highline and slackline together. It is run by Texan, Faith Dickey, who is a world record holder of many bold slackline feats. The festival aims to defy stereotypes and empower women and encourage them to feel confident with the sport.

There will be highlines this year ranging from 12 to 56 metres long, as this is a beginner, intermediate and experienced highliner event. Ostrov is deemed to be the perfect place for the festival, as it has easy-to-access highlines, sandstone climbing and fantastic exposure over the forest,
