Fly from North America to Europe for less than the cost of lunch – but you'll have to act fast

Wow Air, best known for offering deals like $99 flights between North America and Europe, is now offering even cheaper airfares – with tickets available for as low as $55 USD for a limited time.

The Icelandic ultra-low-cost carrier announced that to celebrate the airline’s fifth anniversary, they will offer $55 USD one-way fares between eleven European cities and three American cities. The cheap flights are available from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Dublin, London and Berlin. From Miami, the cheap seats will be heading to Bristol, Brussels, Dublin, Edinburgh, Dusseldorf, Copenhagen, Frankfurt and Cork. The offer is for travel dates in June and is only available when you book a return trip.

Discounted rates are also on offer for travellers from Canada at a price of $75 CAD. The discounted flights will leave from Toronto and Montreal to Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Dublin, London and Berlin.

And while Wow Air says the move breaks the company’s own low-fare record on flights to Europe for the third time in 2017, like most discount airlines, these fares do not include checked baggage, seat reservations and more. And like all of Wow Air’s flights, it will require that travellers connect through Iceland, though it leaves an opportunity for travellers to make a stop in the popular travel spot.

But, with the competitiveness of scoring a cheap flight, they will likely be gone before you know it.
