Watch street artist paint the world in kaleidoscope of colour

Spanish street artist Okuda San Miguel’s trademark is creating wonderful kaleidoscope creations. After an intense year of travelling the world to make his art, he edited together this video.
Colouring the World 2016: A Film by Okuda San Miguel from okuda san miguel on Vimeo.

The video shows him travelling to places like Thailand, Australia and Tahiti. As well as the pieces he created there, it shows his journey and some of the activities he got up to. As well as his renowned street murals, it shows his gallery work and his collaborations with other artists like Felipe Pantone.

Miguel made headlines in 2015 with his crowd-funded work on a Spanish church turned skate park. He has since transformed churches in Morocco and Denver in similar style. It’s not just buildings that can be painted over; the video shows a boat and a train covered in colourful geometric patterns and animals.
