If you’re a fan of fried chicken, and let’s face it, that’s most of us, you’ll be delighted to learn that a finger-lickingly good fried chicken street festival is happening in London this summer.

‘The Bucket List – London’s Ultimate Fried Chicken Adventure’ is the brainchild of street food masters Kerb. They are bringing some of the English capital’s finest fried food purveyors together on Friday 5 May and Saturday 6 May for a tasty and quirky street festival. Outlets like Mother Clucker, Other Side Fried, Bill or Beak, Killa, Daja Chicken, Only Jerkin’, Petare and Mother Flipper will be located in West Handyside Canopy in Kings Cross.

The event is ticketed and the admission price includes a free drink and a a portion of fried chicken from every trader present, so you can sample them all and enjoy the myriad ways fried chicken can be presented. You can enjoy buttermilk-soaked hot sauce Cajun strips or feast on chilli-chocolate popcorn tenders, and once you’ve tried them all, you can vote for your favourite on the Bucket List Wall of Fame.

As well as delicious chicken, there will be live bands, craft beer and a mojito bar. For desserts, sundaes and sweet bites will be on offer from South East Cakery.

The event runs from 6-11 pm on Friday 5 May and from both 12-5 pm and 6-11 pm on Saturday 6 May. Tickets and further information are available here.
