This road trip itinerary will take you to a pet-friendly attraction in each US state

Travelling with pets often means seeking out experiences that will please both you and your furry friend. So Go Pet Friendly, a website for travelling with pets, has crafted a road trip across the US to its top pet-friendly attraction in each state.

As part of ‘The Ultimate Pet Friendly Road Trip’, Amy and Rod Burkert and their pets are travelling around the US to the top spot in every state. According to one of their blog posts, ‘the purpose of this epic tour is to celebrate the joys of pet travel and show people the incredible variety of things you can do with your pets’.

The family will be hosting live events throughout their trip, where they can meet fellow pet-loving travellers. They’ve also posted a list of their top spots, so travellers can recreate a pet-friendly trip on their own.

‘Each selection had to represent the spirit of that state and, in combination, they needed to communicate the diversity of pet friendly adventures to be had all across the country’.

The stops are certain to prove a hit with other travellers, and include places like White Sands National Monument in New Mexico, the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in South Carolina, Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia and Central Park in New York. Travellers can also follow their adventures on social media.
