The Los Angeles Times will be presenting Food Bowl, and it will curate and host events, special programmes, dining experiences and forums. It will also promote conversations about issues of sustainability, food waste and hunger.
The night market will be held at Grand Park in downtown LA from 10-14 May. You can expect to find 50 restaurants and food trucks serving up fantastic fare, along with live entertainment.

Individual events will take place in kitchens, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and farmers’ markets for the rest of the month, and some will even take place on buses. LA’s own chefs and food experts will participate in the festival, alongside some prominent guests from other locations.
These include Massimo Bottura, chef-owner of Osteria Francescana in Italy and founder of Food for Soul; Fergus Henderson, chef and founder of St. John in London; Rosio Sánchez, chef-owner of Hija de Sánchez in Copenhagen, and Magnus Nilsson, chef at Fäviken in Sweden.
