Uluru (also known as Ayers Rock) is located in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Within the park is Yulara village, which also is home to the park’s only accommodation. The Ayers Rock Resort is a complex that includes four hotel and apartment complexes, a campground, spa and more.

The resort is seeking an activities coordinator, who will be in charge of conducting activities like sporting and themed events for staff and residents in Yulara. According to the job listing, the successful applicant will be tasked with scheduling and operating leisure, sport and social activities for Yulara, as well as promoting the activities. Naturally, the job is geared towards someone who loves to get out and be fit, as the applicant must have qualifications in sport and recreation, and desirable qualities include being a qualified pilates, yoga or Zumba instructor.

There will also be benefits for whoever gets the job – due to the remote location, the employee will receive subsidised accommodation, as well as resort discounts, meals on duty, relocation and vacation bonuses and more. They will also have access to staff facilities like a pool, gym and library.
