Birnbeck Pier at Weston-super-Mare has been closed to the public since 1994, but thanks to new footage we get to have a good nose inside.
The pier was once a bright and bustling tourist attraction, but now it looks more like something out of a horror movie. Not only was it a tourist hot-spot back in the day, but it was also a transport hub with steam ships docking there. The incredible footage was captured by a drone, giving a really immersive look into the spooky Victorian site.
Birnbeck Pier is now on the Heritage at Risk register on the Historic England website.
