Try out virtual reality and more at a new Google pop-up that opened in New York

A Google pop-up has opened in SoHo in New York, where visitors can test out products made by the company, like the new Pixel phone, Google Home, and Daydream VR.

While you can play around with the VR technology, you can’t actually buy anything at the pop-up. The shop is only for testing the products out, in an effort to get consumers comfortable with the technology, while the items will be available for purchase at Verizon and Best Buy retail stores.

But, even if you aren’t in the market for some high-end technology, it is a chance to just go in and play around with some crazy new tech while out on a stroll down Spring Street, which is known for its trendy and high-end shops.

The pop-up will also be hosting events, and currently has a listing to celebrate National Cat Day on 29 October, hosting Instagram celebrity cats Nala and Luna Rose. The guests will be able to hang out with the kitties and take pictures, while checking out the pop-up. Made by Google is located on Spring Street in SoHo.
