In Pictures: see a preview of a new Renoir exhibition in Madrid

An exhibition of the works of Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) will soon be on display at the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza in Madrid, Spain.

‘Renoir: Intimacy’ will feature 78 works by the French painter, borrowed from museums and collections from around the world.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 18 October to 22 January, 2017.

The museum is known for holding one of the most incredible private collections of European art in the world.
