Outlaw, an English chef with two Michelin stars whose menus focus on seafood, has opened the new restaurant, called Nathan Outlaw at Al Mahara, at the hotel.

The restaurant will celebrate British cuisine – even using oysters from his home in Cornwall, UK. The dishes are designed specifically for the restaurant, and will deliver “top quality, simple dishes, packed with delicious and complex flavour combinations”, said the hotel in a press release. The menu will feature dishes like lobster risotto, crispy cooker oysters with caviar, raw scallops and citrus cured brill. There will also be classic British offerings like sticky toffee pudding, which is Outlaw’s 11-year-old daughter’s recipe.
The restaurant’s design is also aiming to give visitors an interesting experience, as the floor-to-ceiling aquarium makes diners feel as though they are underwater, watching more than 30 species of exotic fish. The restaurant also has an outdoor patio for those who would like to enjoy an after-dinner drink outdoors.
The opulent Dubai hotel, which is located on an artificial island, has frequently been dubbed “the world’s most luxurious hotel”. Earlier this summer, the Burj Al Arab opened a new outdoor terrace, which features an infinity pool, a restaurant, a beach, cabanas and more.
