Kanye West set to open 21 pop up Pablo stores this weekend

Singer Kanye West is set to open 21 pop up Pablo stores around the world today  following the earlier success of a pop up store in New York.

The singer announced which cities around the world the 21 Pablo stores would be located in on Twitter yesterday.  Queues have been forming in the various cities ahead of the store openings,  with the shops all set to close after three days.

Fans in the world’s biggest cities, from Singapore to London, Berlin, Amsterdam and Cape Town will be able to get their hands on Pablo merchandise throughout the weekend. For fans in the US, there will be an eye-popping 13 stores across the states and and another in Toronto.

The pop up shops will have all the regular Pablo merchandise on offer in addition to limited edition T-shirts and hoodies which will have the name of each city location printed on the back. While Kanye has not released what other types of merchandise will be on offer, the 2013 New York pop up had beach towels, hats and denim jackets.

Pop up stores and restaurants have been gaining popularity in recent years, with Kelis opening a pop up restaurant in London earlier this year and pop up cafes such as this Hello Kitty Cafe in California or this pop up bunny spa in London opening too.
