Thousands of athletes will come to take part in 306 events at 37 different venues around the host city of Rio de Janeiro. The Olympic Village has 31 buildings and 3604 apartments and it set to host more than 17,000 athletes and officials during peak times.

Athletes are preparing for the games and settling into the Olympic Village, but many are also taking the time to show off the city’s amazing sights on their social media accounts. Here are a few posts from athletes that have already arrived in Rio.
