Cheers as London’s bus route 37 creates its own bank holiday beer trail

What does bus, beer and a bank holiday have in common in London? Well, this upcoming (bank holiday) weekend, the 37 bus route will host a beer crawl as three popular venues team up to create this unique experience.

The trail begins or ends – depending on where you live, in Brixton and runs from London Beer Lab to Battersea’s We Bought Beer. It will veer off to the King & Co, Clapham’s craft beer pub.

Honouring the 37 Bus route, there will be 37 beers on offer throughout the bus rides.

Each venue will provide 12 varieties while a specially-brewed beer called Route 37 will round off the drink choice on offer to patrons.

The We Brought Beer team plan to host tastings of their top beers every couple of hours for £20 per ticket.

Not to be outdone, the Evening Standard reports that The King & Co will hold a barbecue this Saturday, 28 May.

The trail along Route 37 and the beer tastings runs throughout the weekend into Monday.
