If you spend your days wishing you could liven up your Instagram feed with photos from places like Peru, Nepal, Antarctica or Tanzania, a travel company is now offering a chance for six people to go on a vacation focused on snapping amazing photographs while on the road.
The Clymb, an outdoor gear and travel company, and the website DreamJobbing.com, have announced they are looking for Instagram-lovers to go on a trip to one of six locations and share their stories from Peru, Ecuador and the Galapagos, Nepal, Antarctica, Tanzania or Alaska.
To apply, applicants have until 22 June to upload a video cover letter that shows off their Instagram skills. The successful applicants will head out on their adventures and then have their images shared on the company’s social media accounts.
While much of the cost of the trips will be covered, travellers will have to pay for their airfare to the country they are visiting, along with some other fees, in some cases a $400 single supplement or visa fees.
According to the job listing for Peru, the seven-day trip will bring the traveller along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, visit Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes, and tour the historical city of Cusco. The trip includes three nights of tent camping, three nights in a hotel, transportation, a bilingual guide, meals and snacks while on the Inca Trail along with a professional chef, and more. In Ecuador, the travellers would hike, mountain bike and raft through the country and journey to the Galapagos Islands.
The 14-day trip to Nepal includes accommodation for two nights in Kathmandu, guesthouse accommodations during the 11 nights of the trek, an English-speaking guides, Everest National Park permits, internal airfare, and more.
The trip to Tanzania would include visits to the Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. The nine-day trip includes a safari with unlimited miles, three-meals a day, luxurious safari lodge accommodation, unlimited local-grown coffee while on safari and more.
In Antarctica, the travellers would leave from Ushuaia, Argentia and end in Punta Arenas, sailing across the Drake Passage. While in Alaska, travellers would hike through Denali National Park and fly over the Ruth Glacier Gorge.
