Lost in Cheeseland is not a fantasy you had when you were a kid about living in a world made of cheese. To Lindsey Tramuta it describes France, her home for over the past 10 years.
In many ways Lindsey represents the expat Parisian dream a la Sex and the City.
Paris is perpetually attracting all types of artists. Loved seeing these focused three at #PalaisRoyal the other idea as I caught up with @fleurishing. Where would you go for artistic inspiration? #meetparis

Moving to Paris from Philadelphia over 10 years ago, Lindsey is a bonafide Francophile with an extremely informative and cute-as-a-button Instagram account.
Among the only macaron I’ll eat! @pierrehermeofficial delivered fresh daily (with some flavors not available in PH shops) to @foudepatisserie boutique! Click the link in my profile for more info 🍡🍓 #thenewparis #eatparis

She first visited as a foreign exchange student and, after falling in love with a Frenchman, she made the leap of faith and moved to Paris for good.
She has since grown her little empire of all things French (not only the cheese, but thankfully lots of that too), and covers food, travel, and interesting people through beautiful photos that capture all that is quintessentially French.

This of course means an enormous focus on food. Everything from macarons, to crepes, to fine wines, to cheeses, to steak-frites, and pastries are covered thoroughly in Lost in Cheeseland as Lindsey is a true food fanatic like any Francophile worth their salt.
Her Instagram cover everything from new bakeries, old restaurants, quirky pensions, views, and even interesting events and observations. She even has some tips on how to start living in France as an expat!

Sent this lunchtime pic to my mom who didn’t question drinking with lunch but who couldn’t believe I actually like beer now ! 😂 I call it #theparisbook effect. Now want my fridge permanently stocked with @bieresgouttedor @deckdonohue and @brooklyn_brewery_france (esp. the pumpkin ale and Sorachi Ace). Keeping it high brow: that’s truffle cheese 👊🏼🍻 #craftbeer #parisperfect
The eternal allure of France and its capital probably didn’t need any bolstering, but we’re definitely pretty much ready to book a flight there stat.
