Here's your shot! A New York hotel is including Hamilton tickets in a package deal

A New York City hotel is now offering a very rare addition to stay in one of its suites – a pair of notoriously difficult-to-obtain tickets to the hit Broadway musical Hamilton.

W New York – Times Square is offering a Hamilton package of one guest suite and two tickets to the Pulitzer-prize winning show, which recently set a record after being nominated for 16 Tony Awards.

The musical, written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, is based on the life of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and has become a huge hit. But its incredible success has meant actually getting tickets to the show has become an very difficult endeavour, with tickets sold out for the rest of the year.

Even the hotel only has packages available on 28 May, 25 June and 2 July, and the one-night stay will set you back about $3500 USD, which unfortunately will be as unattainable for most fans as a regular ticket.

The Hamilton official website notes that tickets are extremely limited as well as reminding purchasers to buy their tickets through channels like the Box Office or Ticketmaster to avoid fraud, as there have been many reports of fake tickets being sold. Premium tickets sold from the box office for $549 and ticket re-sale sites are charging desperate fans far more than that. The best chance for most people to see the show is to enter the ticket lottery online, where extremely lucky fans have the chance to snag a ticket for $10.
