How does a media queen sleep at night? You’ll soon be able to find out as Arianna Huffington – co-founder of the Huffington Post – is opening up her luxurious Manhattan apartment for one night only as an Airbnb.
You can only get access to the Arianna’s “private temple” by competition but you’ll also be rewarded with the ultimate night’s sleep. The competition is to promote the editor’s new book The Sleep Revolution and the winners will also get a gentle crash course into the art of the full forty winks.
After a sleep consultation with Arianna, you’ll be shown to the (guest) bedroom where you’ll be greeted with “luscious pillows and bedside tables overflowing with flowers, candles, and an old-fashioned analogue alarm clock”. You’ll have to follow the rules though; there’s a strict ban on electronic devices inside the bedroom so you’ll have to charge your smartphone outside.
Sleep is supposed to be your top priority while chilling at Arianna’s, but there will be some time for dinner and breakfast with some special guests, as well as an Epsom salts bath before you dive under the covers. Plus you know you want to explore the rest of the plush apartment. Perhaps you can even borrow a book to lull you to sleep?
To be in with a chance, you can enter online. All you need to do is answer “What would you do with your day if you got more sleep at night?” You must be at least 21 and legal resident of the United States to enter. And send us some photos to make us jealous!
