Drunk deer causes havoc in French police station for over two hours
A drunken deer caused havoc for two and a half hours in gendarmerie barracks in the Jura.
The deer had eaten young buds full of sap which had fermented in its stomach, causing it to become intoxicated. It broke into the barracks and gave officers the slip for two and a half hours as it frolicked in the bushes and avoided capture. Eventually the deer was caught, and forestry officials released it back into the forest.
