The fifth annual World Bicycle Forum gets underway in Chile
The fifth annual World Bicycle Forum kicked off in Santiago, Chile on Thursday with a group ride along the Mapocho River. Pedestrians and cyclists will have a portion of the riverside road to themselves for the duration of the forum, which runs through 5 April.
The theme of this year’s forum is “Human Energy, Citizen Power”. Organizers hope to spark conversations about how to make urban areas safer for bicycles as an everyday method of transportation. Read more: laht.com
