Lucky travellers can win the opportunity to sleep with the fishes in an underwater bedroom at the Paris aquarium – separated from sharks with only a transparent wall.
On 11 through 13 April, the Aquarium de Paris is hosting its first ever sleepover in the shark aquarium and the guests will be selected through a competition on Airbnb.
The winners will get to sleep in an enclosure with a large, round bed and take in the views of the marine animals.
Three different people will win a night at the aquarium for themselves and a guest. Their host will be Fred Buyle, a free diver, underwater photographer and shark enthusiast. Guests will also get a tour through the aquarium and learn about sharks and their importance to the ocean’s ecosystem.
To add to the glamour, guests will get to enjoy a meal inside of the aquarium and will be flown in from anywhere in the world.
Entrants are required to have an Airbnb account and to write a submission with a little information about themselves, including where they live and why they want to spend a night with sharks by 3 April.
