Casinos to dim their lights on 19 March as Las Vegas Strip goes dark for Earth Hour
The bright lights along the Las Vegas Strip will be a little less bright on 19 March as Sin City’s biggest casinos dim their exterior lights to celebrate “Earth Hour,” a worldwide event designed to bring attention to climate change.
Caesars Palace, Excalibur, Luxor, MGM Grand and Planet Hollywood will all dim their lights between 7:30pm and 8:30pm, marking the seventh year casinos in Las Vegas have participated in Earth Hour. Las Vegas joins 162 other countries participating in the event. Read more: reviewjournal.com
