Europe's first ever disability-friendly cultural venue opens in old Budapest cinema

Premier Kultcafé, billed as Europe’s first and largest disability-friendly cultural venue, has opened in Budapest on the premises of the disused Vörösmarty cinema after a huge renovation.

The 620-sq-m space includes a cafe, bakery, cinema and a grand hall for hosting concerts and other cultural events. All employees are people with a disability, and the venue is run by a foundation established by Mari Törőcsik, a famous Hungarian actress.
