French museums buy billionaire's Napoleon artifacts

A collection of artifacts relating to the life of Napoleon has been sold at auction, in large part to French museums, including Musee d’Orsay, the National Museum of the Legion of Honour and the National Archives.

The collection, which previously belonged to billionaire Christopher Forbes, includes paintings, letters and manuscripts and the certificate from Napoleon’s wedding to Josephine.
