An art museum in Shanghai has announced it will soon open a new graffiti wall that is to be the longest in the city.
The Liu Haisu Art Museum in west Shanghai has recently relocated from its former spot in the Hongqiao district to a 6000-square-metre site along Yan’an West Rd. Along with its six new exhibition halls, the museum created a 300-metre-long graffiti space along one of its exterior walls. Artists were invited to decorate the wall in street art, including several students from the Fine Arts College at Shanghai University, who reworked artworks they’d seen online with the artists’ permission.
