Michelin bestows two three-star awards in the Nordics

Famed culinary critics Michelin have released their 2016 Nordic Guide and, for the first time, have awarded two restaurants in the region with three stars, their highest accolade.

Geranium in Copenhagen and Maaemo in Oslo were bestowed the rating in the latest edition, which now has broader coverage and includes venues outside of the main cities. World-famous Copenhagen restaurant Noma was again awarded two stars, while Fäviken Magasinet in Järpen, Sweden, was the only restaurant in the guide to be newly awarded the same honour for this edition.
