Orphaned sea otter finds a home in Chicago

A female sea otter pup that was found on Carmel Beach in California at the beginning of the year has been given a forever home at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago .  

Pup 719, who was rescued by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Sea Otter Program, has found a new home.

The pup is now 10 weeks old, with the temporary name Pup719. She is receiving round the clock care by a team of experts as she adjusts to life in her new home. Read and see a video at: chicagoist.com
