Melbourne’s Gourmet Cinema pairs film with food

To be held over five days in early March, Melbourne’s Gourmet Cinema is taking summertime outdoor cinema to the next level by providing matching foods with films to be screened at Caulfield Racecourse on the city’s south side.

Well known Melbourne restaurants have been enlisted to provide the nourishment. Epocha will feed revellers watching The Grand Budapest Hotel; Le Bon Ton will supply the ‘dude food’ for The Big Lebowski and Mamasita is catering for the film Chef. While restaurants will serve dishes inspired by the film, they will have a wider menu to choose from too. Drinks are available including themed cocktails. And dessert has not been neglected with LuxBite providing the sweetness.
