Cambodia gets first wheelchair-accessible tuk-tuk

A community development group in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, has produced the country’s first wheelchair-accessible tuk-tuk, which features a retrofitted metal ramp that acts as a back door, and an internal strap for securing the wheelchair.

The Agile Development Group hopes to expand the project and eventually mass product the tuk-tuks. Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen, who is blind in one eye, has in the past vowed support for people with disabilities.
