From July this year, Oman Air will begin operating its first flights to China.
After flights to Shanghai and Beijing proved too difficult to acquire, the airline will be flying into Guangzhou, in the south of the country, home to the Canton Fair, one of the largest trade fairs in China. A Boeing 787-800 and 737 will fly the new route, which will touch down in the southern city four times weekly. The airline also hopes to increase its flights to Iran as well as provide a daily service to New York in 2018.
