Denmark tops the world with wind power

Figures released this week by non-profit organisation Energinet.dk have shown that over 42% of Denmark’s domestic electricity use was generated via wind power in 2015, the highest percentage of any country in the world.

The Danish government is committed to supporting renewable energy projects, and aims to produce half of its electricity using wind power by 2020, and the current figures suggest they’re on track to meet this goal.
