First look at Dubai safari set to house 1000 animals

A video released by Dubai Municipality on Instagram has revealed the progress on the construction of the Dubai Safari which gives viewers a first glimpse as to what the new attraction might look like when complete.

The new safari will house around 1000 animals, including over 350 rare and endangered species.

The safari will be located opposite Dragon Mart over a plot of 119 hectares and will feature attractions including themed villages inspired by countries around the world as well as a butterfly park, botanical garden and educational and veterinary facilities.

Ticket prices have yet to be revealed and an opening date has not been disclosed.
