Musician leaves €2.4 million Stradivarius on train in Germany

A violinist was ‘more than relieved’ to be reunited with her 1727 Stradivarius, after she left it in the luggage compartment of a train in western Germany. Police in Saarbrücken tracked down the instrument, worth €2.4 million, upon discovering that the train she had been travelling on had returned to Mannheim.
