Helicopter service launched for commuters in south China

Commuters and travellers can avail of a new helicopter serviced launched in southern China.

The service connects the three main cities in the Pearl River Delta – Guangzhou , Zhuhai and Shenzhen. Aimed primarily at commuters, the flights reduce travel-time between Zhuhai and Shenzhen from three hours by car to just 30 minutes. Ticket prices for a single journey were reported to be around ¥5,000 (US$770). The choppers take off and land in the central business districts of Shenzhen and Guangzhou and near the Macau border in Zhuhai. Read more: shanghaiist.com
