New push to reestablish Amtrak routes along the Gulf Coast

The Gulf Coast wants Amtrak back. More than 10 years after Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast region and Amtrak service was halted, a multistate agency is pushing for service to be restored to the area.
