Norway is world's best country to live in says UN

The UN has announced that, for the 12th year running, Norway has been ranked the best country in the world to live in.

The Human Development Index (HDI) takes factors such as life expectancy and access to education into consideration, and the list is compiled as part of the UN’s annual Human Development Report. Australia came second, and the USA was ranked at number eight, while the UK  climbed one place from last year’s survey to 14. Read more: independent.co.uk
