Bizarre job perk in South Korea: mock funeral

Employees at several companies in South Korea have been asked to partake in a bizarre ritual: attending their own funerals.

Companies have staged the mock rituals in an effort to get employees to value their own lives. Workers are dressed in ritual robes and asked to get inside coffins whilst hugging photos of themselves. Coffins are then nailed shut for a time while participants are asked to reflect upon the meaning of life. South Korea is known for its intense workplace culture and has one of the highest suicide rates in the developed world.
