Nobel Peace Prize medal to go on display at Tunisia’s Bardo Museum
The medal awarded to the Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet is to go on display at the Bardo Museum in Tunis, which was the site of a deadly terrorist attack earlier this year.
The quartet of civil society groups won the award for saving the country’s transition to democracy during a time of great upheaval. Houcine Abassi, secretary general of the Tunisian General Labour Union said the award honored victims of the attacks the country has suffered and the whole of Tunisian society. Read more: thelocal.no
