Ballet group uses layover to make Denver Airport dance video

A long layover can be frustrating, but a group of ballet dancers made the most of their stop by putting on a show using the airport’s moving sidewalk.

While stopped at the Denver Airport for five hours, dancers from the State Street Ballet in Santa Barbara, California, decided to use that time to show off some of their moves.

The performers used the moving sidewalks to co-ordinate an impressive array of lifts and handstands.

Nick Topete, of the ballet group, posted the video to his Facebook and Instagram pages, and the Facebook post has since racked up more than two million views.

The State Street Ballet is currently touring for their performance of The Nutcracker.
