His self-proclaimed awe at the beauty of the Norwegian landscape is apparent in his posts and pictures, which depict everything from the wildness of the Lofoten Islands to the idyll of the Naeroy Fjords. Since 2012 he’s gained almost 60K followers on Instagram and is likely to gain still more.

“I started taking kayak photos on Instagram about 3 years ago, ” Tomasz told Lonely Planet. “I’ve been interested in photography for about 10 years too. I moved to Norway when I was 6 years old. Most of the photos are taken from areas that are located a couple of hours drive from Bergen, where I have lived all my life. Some of the photos are from Lofoten Islands in the northern Norway.”

Tomasz says that whilst the images show a lot of good weather and clear skies, “there are a lot of days with rain in the area where I live. Kayaking is a nice way of exploring these areas in bad weather.” Bad weather or not, the images make Norway seem like a Northern paradise.
