On Tuesday, America’s National Parks Service celebrates 99 years in existence with free admission to all parks.
The service was signed into being in 1916 as a way to protect, maintain and inform the public about the US nation’s incredible parks and national landmarks. National parks across the country will be celebrating the birthday with events and activities. ‘The National Park Service’s 99th birthday is an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the role of national parks in the American story,’ said National Park Service Director Jonathan B.
