Huge Art Deco exhibition opens at Moscow's new Art Deco Museum

Moscow’s new Art Deco Museum, which opened at the end of 2014, exhibits the first collection of Art Deco in Russia.

It includes more than 900 sculptures, 300 furniture pieces and 200 decorative objects made between the two world wars. The museum was founded by a businessman who spent years buying Art Deco objects at auctions worldwide, and the collection is worth over US$100 million. The museum is located in the former Imperial Mint on the Moscow River embankment. Read more: themoscowtimes.com
