Bomb found in Bangkok as Thai police increase patrols
A bomb was found in a house on Sukhumvit 81, one of Bangkok’s busiest roads, on Monday and deactivated by police, just a week after an explosion killed 20 people in the capital.
Thai police have admitted that they are unsure if the chief suspect in last Monday’s deadly Erawan shrine bombing was still in the country, but authorities have vowed to ratchet up patrols to assure foreigners that travel to Thailand is safe. Read more: reuters.com
