Air India offers bonus to cabin crew who get to work on time during the Haj
Air India, the national carrier of India, is to offer its cabin crews a Rs10,000 (US$150) as an incentive to turn up to work on time during the Haj.
The airline is suffering a major shortage of cabin crew and many flights are delayed while aircraft wait for a full complement of staff. The Haj make a huge contribution to the airline’s income, with around 38,000 passengers travelling from India to Jeddah for the pilgrimage every year. Read more: timesofindia.indiatimes.com
