Yosemite campsite closes after squirrels die of plague
A month ago a young boy caught bubonic plague while on a family trip to Yosemite National Park and now a campsite there is temporarily closing after two squirrels died from the disease.
Tuolumne Meadows Campground, northeast of Yosemite Valley, has cancelled reservations from today, Monday, until Friday to allow officials to spray the area with plague-killing insecticide. Read more: nbcbayarea.com
