Firefighters have brought under control a blaze in Eksjö, southern Sweden, but say the fire, which claimed the life of a 25-year-old woman, could flare up again at any time.
Around 200 homes were evacuated after the fire began in an apartment early on Sunday morning. Founded in 1568, historic Eksjö is one of Sweden’s oldest wooden towns and has been described as ‘a unique cultural treasure’. Read more: thelocal.se
