Tourists banned from reserving a space on Croatian beach
Authorities in the Dalmatian town of Tisno, home to some of Croatia’s biggest music festivals, have banned holidaymakers from leaving towels and sun loungers on the beach overnight to reserve a prime spot for the next day.
Council patrols will scour the beach each night, and the offending items will be removed and taken to the council headquarters, where they can be collected the next day. Read more: croatiaweek.com
